This September, NovaGenix Health & Wellness celebrates 10 years in business. Since opening our doors in Jupiter, Florida, in 2016, our story has been shaped by friendship, teamwork and the patients who have placed their trust in us.
An anniversary gives us a reason to pause—to look through old photographs, remember the early days and appreciate everyone who helped us reach this point.
Before we look ahead, we want to say thank you. Whether you have been with NovaGenix for years or are just getting to know us, we are grateful to share this milestone with you.
NovaGenix’s beginnings trace back to Brazilian jiu-jitsu, where Tim Bruce and Andy Stock first became friends. Their healthcare experience and interest in health and fitness helped inspire a practice built around personal patient relationships.
Tim brought a background in science education, athletics and early telemedicine. Andy brought experience in personal training, exercise science and medical-clinic management. Those different perspectives helped shape NovaGenix as it took root in Jupiter.
Today, Tonya adds her own background in Marine Corps service and martial arts to the team’s work in patient experience and operations.
Together, these stories give NovaGenix its character. You can explore the early photographs and meet the people behind the practice on our About Us page.
An important chapter in NovaGenix’s journey has been the medical leadership of Dr. Timothy W. Mackey, D.O., who has served as medical director since December 2018.
Before becoming a physician, Dr. Mackey served as a non-commissioned officer in the United States Army. He earned his osteopathic medical degree from Ohio University in 2001 and subsequently entered internal-medicine residency training in St. Petersburg, Florida. His career has included urgent-care practice and ownership of Truman Medical Center in Key West.
Today, he brings more than two decades of clinical experience to NovaGenix. His approach considers each patient’s history, symptoms, medications, laboratory findings and goals before determining whether treatment is appropriate. Clear explanations and continued monitoring are central to his work.
Learn more about his background and approach in Dr. Mackey’s biography.
Our connection to Jupiter remains an important part of who we are. NovaGenix has participated in community wellness events, shared educational information and appeared in local media over the years.
Today, the practice provides physician-led hormone care, testosterone replacement therapy, medical weight management and related wellness services. In-person care remains available at our Jupiter office, with telemedicine for eligible patients elsewhere in Florida when appropriate.
As the practice continues to develop, we want to preserve what makes a local healthcare relationship meaningful: people who listen, questions that receive thoughtful answers and a team patients can reach.
The most meaningful part of this anniversary is the opportunity to recognize our patients.
Thank you for making time for conversations about your health. Thank you for asking questions, sharing your concerns and allowing us to participate in your care. We understand that choosing a healthcare practice is a personal decision, and we appreciate being part of yours.
To everyone who has referred a friend or family member, shared feedback or offered encouragement: those gestures matter. They connect one person’s experience with the next person’s first conversation.
And to our team, families and friends: thank you for the work and support behind the scenes. A decade in business includes countless everyday responsibilities, and this anniversary is a chance to recognize the people who carry them.
We recently shared our 10th-anniversary announcement on PRLog, marking this chapter in NovaGenix’s story.
As we enter our next decade, our commitment is to continue earning your trust through personal attention, patient education and thoughtful care.
For now, we are celebrating how far we have come—and everyone who has been part of the journey.
Thank you for ten years, Jupiter. Here’s to the next chapter of NovaGenix, together.
With gratitude,
The NovaGenix Team
