Does NovaGenix prescribe Kyzatrex?
NovaGenix may prescribe oral testosterone undecanoate, including Kyzatrex, when the physician determines it is appropriate.
Does NovaGenix offer pellets or patches?
NovaGenix does not offer testosterone pellets or patches. Patients may still discuss these formulations and their alternatives with the physician.
What happens if my PSA is elevated?
An elevated or concerning PSA may require repeat testing or referral to a urologist before TRT is started or continued. An elevated PSA does not automatically mean prostate cancer.
Does NovaGenix test for sleep apnea?
No. Sleep-apnea symptoms may be discussed, but NovaGenix does not perform sleep studies or formal sleep-apnea testing. Patients may be referred for outside evaluation.
Does NovaGenix accept insurance?
NovaGenix is a direct self-pay medical practice and does not accept or bill health insurance. The clinic offers an all-inclusive TRT program, and flexible payment options can be discussed with staff.
Can I receive TRT through telehealth or online in Florida?
NovaGenix offers telehealth consultations and remote follow-up for eligible patients located in Florida. Some people refer to this as online TRT, but treatment still requires appropriate laboratory testing, physician evaluation, diagnosis, medication oversight, and ongoing monitoring. An in-person visit or physical evaluation may be required based on the patient’s medical needs and the physician’s judgment.
Can symptoms alone diagnose low testosterone?

Will I need more than one testosterone test?

What time of day should testosterone be tested?

Can NovaGenix review bloodwork from another laboratory?
Yes. NovaGenix can review recent bloodwork from any accredited laboratory. Dr. Mackey may require additional testing when the available results are incomplete, outdated, or insufficient for diagnosis or monitoring.
What happens if my existing laboratory work is incomplete?
NovaGenix can order additional testing through its clinic account. The standard male hormone panel through Labcorp is currently $125, and additional tests may carry separate charges.
Who may not be a good candidate for TRT?
TRT may not be appropriate for every patient. The physician evaluates medical history, symptoms, laboratory findings, fertility goals, cardiovascular factors, prostate considerations, hematocrit, sleep-apnea risk, and other relevant issues.
How long does TRT take to begin working?

Is TRT a lifelong treatment?
